“Went out with the wife for a lunch date. Saw some of the reviews and decided to try Fine's. Wife ordered a wet Italian beef on garlic bread with tots and I ordered a double cheese burger with fries. Wife really enjoyed her beef. I didn't care for the cheddar spread on the burger, it didn't taste right. I mentioned it to the staff and they made me a whole new burger with American cheese. My suggestion would be to ask what kind of cheese the customer wants or at least explain it is a cheddar spread. Good customer service, we will probably bring the kids back. They also have a gluten free bun option.”

“Wow!!!! This place was phenomenal!! We ordered the catfish dinner and the combo dinner (ribs and burnt ends). Everything was incredible. The catfish was melt-in-your-mouth goodness with a gorgeous crunch. The meat was falling off the bone tender. I wanted to marry the mac and cheese, and the beans, and the mashed potatoes. Also everyone was so friendly and kind!!!”

The remodel made the bar look even more clean and crisp but still offered the friendly hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. They still have their pool tables which is awesome! They also have TV's and music. “I am a picky eater when it comes to pizza, so when my girlfriend and I tried Dewey's Pizza, I was a little hesitant. However, along with the excellent service we had and the quality of the pizzas, I can say that this is one of my new favorite pizza restaurants. I forgot our waitresses name, but that wasn't a problem because there were two others who attended to us as well. I was completely shocked! My girlfriend had the Southwest BBQ Chicken pizza with the Peppercorn Ranch salad while I had the Bronx Bomber pizza. They were so delicious that we had to take leftovers home with us, which tasted just as good. If you are ever bored and want to try a pizza restaurant with great quality, I highly recommend Dewey's Pizza in O'Fallon, IL. There is a large window in which you can see the cooks make pizzas from scratch which is also quite entertaining!”

If your lucky you can score a place along the wall of windows to have a view of the water. Stopped in and had biscuits and gravy. Served as one, two or four biscuits. Two was filling for me but I could have easily shoved two more in if I had them in front of me. The biscuits had a great texture and were not hard as rocks like some places. The gravy had a good flavor to them and definitely were not bland. Great place to stop in and relax and have a great meal.”

“Obbie's is thin and crispy at the edges. It gives you the feel of indulgence with it being very cheesy and slightly greasy. We have ordered pepperoni, sausage, spinach and mushrooms with jalapeños. If you ask for extra sauce, you get it! Italian beef is not available as a pizza topping, which is a must for people that don't eat pork. I'm not crazy about the fries. I've also had their BBQ chicken. That was yum. 😋”
