“We recently had the opportunity to become acquainted with Heritage Mission. I don’t think most people in our area are even aware of its existence, but amazing things are happening there. The Mains family, who formed and oversees it, are genuine, caring people who have made it their life mission to give children a chance to grow up in safety, with the opportunities that most of us take for granted. The children study, cook, garden, do yardwork, support the community and each other, among many other things. They are joyful, responsible, considerate and appreciative. We should all stand behind such a wonderful effort right here in Allen County.”

“Really great hiking park. Wide packed dirt trails. Surprising change in elevations. Very pretty and shallow stream runs through park with trails on either side. Couple of sets of stair steps, and lots of logs cut through to maintain path. Very pretty and peaceful park.”
