“Before I arrived to Dr. Amanda Patch’s facility on 2/24/2023, I had gotten into what I believe was a bad confrontation with maintenance from my apartment complex over my housekeeping skills (which was harshly criticized due to being in a lot of physical back pain following injuries I sustained on my moving night) and thank goodness that it was purely coincidental that I had my very first appointment with Dr. Patch. Nearly two hours after that confrontation and while being on the Uber ride to the facility, I felt a sharp pain or sensation on my right foot as well as my lower back. As I was checking in, I did request a wheelchair due to the severe pain I had. Thankfully, with my daughter-in-law, Dr. Jenna (Atkins) Zinn, MD, DVM (who became a doctor and veterinarian in January 2023 at age 24), Dr Patch and I had a damn good discussion about the care that I received and picking up where Dr. Kanika Jaggi of another hospital network on 2/20/2023, as well as the fact and effectively confirmed the diagnosis of being on my way to Type II diabetes as the back injury I sustained on 11/1/2022 was in fact caused by diabetic nerve pain. That being said, I did get what I needed was that doctors note confirming, or should I say mandating yours truly to be on the ground floor. Thank you, Dr. Amanda Patch and even though it is considered to be a perceived conflict of interest ethically, I am also saying thank you to my daughter-in-law, Dr. Jenna Zinn.”

“First time here. Loved Angie and Dr. Byall from first interactions. He taked Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and Angie had everything we needed before I went in. They are very detailed and my first session I actually have most motion back in my shoulder and can do things like reach center of my back....I haven't been able to do so in over a year. Also Stem therapy with nice pulsing technology. Outstanding. Cannot wait for next session toward complete mobility and rotation of my arm as well as getting rid of this terrible constant pain!”

“I can’t say enough about Heritage Pointe! My parents initially moved in to one of the houses around a pond and they loved it. As the years passed, my mother moved into memory care, and my father died. My mother is so loved and so well taken care of at Heritage Pointe, that I cannot believe it! I have never experienced a nursing facility as wonderful as this one. The staff at every level are compassionate and interactive with the residents. They have fun activities from morning until evening, so that the residents are not bored or lonely. I visit frequently, and I actually look forward to every visit because I enjoy the staff so much! By the way, the food is phenomenal, and is prepared in a scratch kitchen, which is unheard of in this type of setting. Also if a resident doesn’t want what is on the menu, there is a huge alternative menu to choose from. Entering the main building, you feel like you are going into a resort rather than a nursing facility. It really is quite phenomenal-to say I love Heritage Pointe is an understatement!”

You can find any and almost everything here from home decors, to party supplies, to snacks.. all for a $1. I’m also very appreciative that the store is usually clean/organized. A downside is there are sometimes long lines (just one register open sometimes)”

“My husband and I have been going to Dr. Serbus for several years now. She has to be one of the easiest doctors to talk to. She makes every visit comfortable and isn’t in a rush to get out the door. I love that she doesn’t just talk about medical issues and treats us like she’s known us all her life. She has a wonderful personality and does everything possible to come up with solutions.
