“A sheriff pulled me over this evening. He informed me that my tail light was out as well as my license plate lights. He did the usual asking for license and insurance. He went back to his car after I produced what he requested. What happened next was so unexpected I'm still kind of shocked. He came to the window and gave me a $25 dollar walmart gift card. He said go get your lights fixed. To which I promptly did. That is offering a solution to a problem. A great show of helping to which I'm from Chicago and just passing through. I think Boone county has the right idea and if more police stations followed there lead with real solutions than the world would be a much better place. Thank you to the sheriff that pulled me over (i didnt catch your name) and the boone county sheriff's department your help was greatly appreciated and keep up the good work!”
