“My husband and I like to canoe. This park has a canoe ramp, but whenever we are here with our canoe there are people fishing off the ramp. Today we were there with our treats from Flavors and wouldn't you know it, no one was fishing.”

“Great local park with plenty of amenities. Trash is picked up and Bathrooms are kept clean. The fields and playground are kept in good order. My one complaint is the walking path crosses over the driveway multiple times so you need to be careful, and the parking lot closest to stateline road only has one entrance and exit so it gets clogged up sometimes”

“Never went in. Was tired from driving on 50. Pulled over and took a nap in the parking lot. I rate that nap at 5 stars.”

“Lovely hidden-away gem for fishing, 3 easy hiking, picnics and just general time spent in nature. The hiking signs are not the most clear, but we also didn't have any trouble finding our way back to the car. Accessible bathrooms and plenty of parking. Don't forget bugspray!”

“Great little place to bring your pet and let them run around. The area has a partition to help keep larger and smaller dogs apart. Also has a walking/jogging trail next to it.”

“It was a very nice facility. Dining hall was very nice. Meeting rooms were nice and the sleeping rooms were a motel. As nice as any cheap to mid price hotels. Very clean. The grounds were great. I would highly recommend this place.”

“Absolutely beautiful wooded park with plenty of open picnic space for any size gathering. Great walks along the river or a short hike along the ridge. Bring your tube and float down the river for an afternoon, or just lounge in the grass. An absolute Clark County treasure.”

“I stayed at Blackhawk RV Camping Resort as part of a Thousand Trails about a week ago. I could not be more impressed! From the day of my arrival, I was made to feel welcome from super friendly staff and seasonals (shout-out to Brad, Brian, Ben and Steve, also to a woman with short blonde hair and a pink golf cart, who was also very helpful- sorry I didn't get your name). Anyway, the campground is HUGE and very well-kept. There is plenty of space between campers- from anyone in tents to living in one of their cabins. I was in my own Class-A. I had full hook-ups (20-50amp available at the pole) with no issues with electric and good water pressure. They had beautiful landscaping with lots of grass and trees throughout. If I had the grandkids, they would have enjoyed themselves with the myriad of children's activities they offered as well as a basketball court, volleyball, horseshoes, swimming pool etc. They also had 3 adjacent lakes, but I could only figure-out how to get to 2 of them. Onsite, I also found a store with basic amenities (+ ice & fire wood) as well as a 24-hour laundry room. You can also rent a golf cart, which I recommend for at least a couple of days. I highly recommend this campground!”
