“This was THE BEST MEAL EVER!!! Took my husband here for his 65th birthday. They sat us by the extravagant fireplace. The owner/chef personally came and met us at our table. My husband ordered the ribeye with the waxed beans and roasted fingerling potatoes and I had the beef tenderloin with the potatoes and vegatable mix medley. All I can say again, this was the best meal we have ever had!! This place needs to have an article written about it. We WILL BE BACK! If you don't go here you are missing out. “This is now a campground owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is being refurbished by volunteers and turning out very nice! Any member of the church can reserve a site and invite friends. It is also used for many boys and girls camps during the summer. It's very beautiful and the amenities are constantly improving! They even have an 8-person cabin with AC and everything!”

“Our first experience with the Whitewater Valley Railroad was over the summer and our excursion was ~1.5 hours to Metamora where we got to explore for a few hours before heading back. The views were spectacular (IMO the best out of French Lick and Nickel Plate). The staff are laidback, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are grateful for each passenger and you can tell it’s a labor of love for them. We of course couldn’t wait to come back for the Polar Express ride in December. So much fun for the whole family - we got AMAZING chocolate cookies and hot cocoa, interactions with the chocolate chefs, elves, and the conductor throughout the ride and a special visit with the big man at the end. You can bring your own snacks and little cooler, blankets, etc for a comfortable and family-friendly experience.”
