(February 8, 2023, 12:32 pm)Growing up in and around Metamora I have seen the Metamora Vol. Fire Department in action many times. They help my late father with a grass fire when I was a kid. I saw them save homes and property up and down McGuire Ridge , Yellow Bank, and Duck creek rd.s The fire last Saturday night on McGuire Ridge Feb.4th was a great example of how they work with other departments and quickly put the fire under control. I am glad to have past and present members as my friends. Thank you to you all!
