So instead of going back to the dealership that would love to fix it again, and since I've already spent more than a thousand dollars in repairs on that engine with that dealership, I took it to Jeremy at Tindalls for a 2nd opinion. His opinion after checking it out was the engine is no good, don't repair it. That's valuable to me and much appreciated. Tindalls is a small engine repair shop off Hwy 135 just south of Corydon.”

They cleaned and repadded my clarinet from my school days for my son and got him everything he needed to begin. They also came to the rescue when he chipped his mouth piece and needed new. “They replaced my transmission with a Jasper rebuilt transmission and fixed a bad oil leak. We had a trip scheduled and they got it done in time. It worked perfectly, traveled about 800 miles. They also got me new tires installed when they got the frontend aligned locally. Got all this done at a great price! They were very nice to deal with even meet me after hours to pickup my vehicle. I loved their dog also. I would highly recommend this place.”

“I love to visit Van Winkle when I am visiting my in laws. I have purchased tires from them mid-trip on more than one occasion. They have a wide variety of new and used tires for a range of applications. They offer mechanical services and if your auto needs something they cannot do, then they can recommend nearby reputable mechanic shops. They have friendly employees, prompt service, and a clean office from my experience. Highly recommend! I went in most recently in early June of 2023 and they were very friendly and talked with my two young sons and let them feel like they were helping with the tire swap. I had three tires replaced on wheels I brought there. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with the tires I purchased mounted and balanced for an almost unbelievably reasonable price. All around a very pleasant experience”

“We were driving thru the area, and one of the cars had a low tire psi. This NAPA was our last, close resort to have access to an air hose. We were told to drive around back, and the manager was there with the hose. We were able to get tire aired properly and the car's owner went inside and bought an electric pump(plug in the cigarette lighter socket). THANK YOU NAPA on the Westside of Corydon!!!”
