“I was writing my last paper for the semester, and listening to what was being said around me, my heart started to slowing crack and allow emotions and the guilt I have creep out. Trying to hold back tears, I sat and listened and responded in a way a mother should. After all went to bed, I broke asking myself what I am doing wrong, am I a good mom, am I doing the right things. I decided to finally go to bed and as I laid down and closed my eyes, it clicked. A discussion I had with Kalena a few weeks ago, celebrate moments of love. Love isnt buying things and going places, love is the bear hug your son gives you out of no where that causes a tear to run down your face, love is the text message from your daughter thanking you and telling her momma she loves her. Love is your husband telling you he is proud of you after having a long day at work, going to class and then coming home and spending hours on homework. Love is your husband encouraging you to keep going becasue the end is near. Love is the spontaneous phone calls from your kids just to chat. Love is being there to pick them up no matter how old they are. Love is listening to them talk about life with the other parent. I would of never been able to say that and feel that with out opening up weeks ago with Kalena. As Brett Young says it in Chapters, these are the chapters in our life. That every lesson learned is a chapter in our lives. In the last five years, I have learned to love, learned to forgive, and learned to slowly close those chapters in order to start writing new ones. There is no perfection, perfection is what we deem fit for ourselves and our family.”

“Subway sandwiches are always delicious. This subway place was the best because their staff was simply fantastic. One person is in charge of bread, meat and cheese, the other was in charge of sauces, toppings and cashing out, they made my sandwich so nice and yummy with generous amount of everything, Delicious sandwiches and healthy my grandchildren fascinate them. “A bright cheery place without the smell of a nursing home/Rehab facility. Food is the reason for less than a 5. While nutritious it is very institutional in preparation. The Rehab staff is a 6, outstanding, simply outstanding. Grounds are pleasing and most if not all rooms have windows. There could be more outdoor space with shade. The staff quickly learns your name. Has to be the best place in town.”
