Took the short drive down to Roanoke Indiana today for pizza at The Patio.
Larger pizzas photograph better, so I got the 16-inch size. They let me get two styles on the same pizza, so I went with the Mac Burger Pizza, which has ground beef, onion, pickle, cheese, lettuce, and mac sauce.
The other half is called BBQ pit Pizza. It has, pulled pork, onion, cheese, chipotle sauce, then covered with barbecue sauce and onion straws.
I don't know that I could pick a favorite between the two. Both turned out to be a very interesting style, with tons of flavor.
I also saw a few orders of breadsticks go out, and they looked fantastic.
They do offer veggie crust or gluten-free crust in the 10-in size for an extra cost.
The building is very open, hence the name The Patio.
At this time of year, they have wonderful weather coverings over all the spaces. Don't let the cold outside make you nervous, it's plenty warm in here.
Service today was pretty fantastic. At least four or five different people asked me how I was or if I enjoyed my pizza choice.
Have you visited before? What did you like on the menu?

We were very impressed with the indoor/outdoor environment at The Patio. Weather was perfect & our waitress was fabulous!! We came to celebrate our 19 year old's birthday lunch. 🎂🎉
Love the vibe and the setup of this restaurant. Belongs along a beach with the open setup and great to have that feel in Indiana. Friendly and fun service & great food. Have had the pizza with the cauliflower crust and it works! JJ’s sub was our favorite this time. Very unique and yet another great spot in Roanoke
We had never heard of it before and we love trying the local mom & pop pizza joints, so we checked it out. The fact they also offer BBQ was a bonus. From the time we walked in until we left we felt like family. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Our server Andrea was absolutely amazing! Greeted us in a very timely manner, took our drink order, and gave us as much time as we needed to pick just the right lunch items. My daughter ordered spaghetti and said she will get it every time we go. I ordered a meat pizza and smoked BBQ wings and of course ice cold beer to wash it all down. Everything was fantastic! A wonderful hidden gem tucked right off the highway in Roanoke, IN. Who knew?
We had a fantastic lunch. Pulled chicken and wings. Was surprised we could get beer or cocktails too. Very cool little place. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Good music. Fast friendly service. Clean and maintained bathrooms, always a plus.
Priced well. Definitely worth the stop and return trips.
