“We attended Ribber Fest. Great BBQ and entertainment. Samantha Fish and Trombone Shorty were the headliners. They were awesome!”

Park

“The trail gives you a good workout up hill. Took 20 minutes to get to the top. It is mostly shaded and all paved. About halfway up you'll arrive at a clearing to take in the views. At the top you'll see the woman's prison and if you walk to the right, the state mental hospital. It is a peaceful trail and a great little hike for getting out of the house. Great for dogs and kids. Too steep for wheelchairs.”

Lanthier Winery

Art gallery Park

“This was a fun place to visit in Madison! Dennis let us taste some really delicious wine, a vodka, and then we walked around the garden with a wine slushy. Very welcome on this hot summer day. We will definitely go back!”

Campground Park Lodging

“Hidden Gem Sites are tight, but the ones over looking the river are worth it. We camped there in September 2020 and had a site along the Ohio River. We had our 2 German Shepherds with camping with us. We brought our Jet Skis and rode on the river for two days. I had pulled a muscle in my back when we first arrived. The camp hosts were super nice to us and brought our firewood to my site. The showers were nice and clean (especially for a city park). We had a great time and I look forward to going back.”
