“I had my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower at the Sassafras Tea Room. It was absolutely wonderful! They took care of everything. The room was cozy and not too big. It made the atmosphere very personal. I will certainly recommend this Tea Room to my friends. I'll even be back for lunch sometime. My only complaint is the cup of chicken velvet soup is too small. : )”

“Good place if you're looking to get food in a short period of time. Go through the line to order and then pick up your food at the other end. Service is usually quick and pleasant. Food is always fresh. Our favorite menu option is the "Pick 2." You pick 2 items off the menu board such as sandwich and soup. Or, salad and sandwich, any combo. You will receive a half sandwich and a cup of soup or half size salad. There is plenty to fill you up with this option. Or, go for something full sized. Favorites here are Greek salad (we like ALL their salads), asiago focaccia bread, french onion soup. Soups all taste homemade and are thick with great flavor. Visit the pastry counter for a pastry or cookie for dessert and take home some bagels for the next morning. All their breads are great!”
