Der Ruhe Blatz Motel

We had stayed at the Shipshewana campground south this fall. We had a very good experience with them. We were coming back in town but the campground was closed for the season. We booked with the hotel because they were willing to accommodate my Motorhome and provide a room to stay during mid December. When we needed to adjust our plans, the front desk and owner were willing to work with us. Unfortunately our plans required us to go a different route. I appreciate the extra effort they put into trying to provide us with alternatives. Very good customer service!

Clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet, priced well, and a hot breakfast. The rooms have everything you need. We enjoyed our stay. Miss N did a great job preparing our room. This was our second stay here. We shall return again.

Owners very rude. Not a Amish place. Person slipped on handicap ramp due to being wood and wet with aglea stepping around cleaning cart due to be in front of door. Went to let owner know what happened also let them know face of a $400.00 watch was marked up due to fall. Didn't even say anything about them for repair. Just wantedto let them know so no one else get hurt. Was told shouldn't have stepped on it. Also call room next to room and told person to tell friend should get husband under control. Owners were very rude also told us they have book to put name in to keep us from booking again, because we told her we would not book ever again.
