“Great location for adults. There is no playground equipment, so not very many children are running around. Easy access to Pigeon River for kayak and canoe trips. Great place to sit around a fire and visit with friends. Will be back again.”

“Trading Post Outfitters is a little bit out of the way but on the recommendation of a friend we made the trek and it was definitely worth it. The staff is very helpful and all of the kayaks we had were in good working order. The facility is neat and orderly with clean bathrooms and lots of changing stalls. There are two kayaking options, we took the west section which leads away from the Trading Post. We plan to come back and do the east section as well. The river itself is beautiful, with a good current and the water is very clear. We saw lots of fish in it and a couple of otters as well.”
