I had taken my vehicles to them for years, after another well-known mechanic in Crown Point tried to tell me that I had a blown head gasket. I got a second opinion from Father & Sons, who found out that I only needed a thermostat. Obviously the other auto shop was trying to take advantage but Dan at Father and Sons found the real problem. What would have cost me well over $1500 at the other place was a $12 part and labor at Father & Sons. They are by far the most honest and trustworthy mechanics in the area and they back up their work.

(January 17, 2017, 3:51 am)Great place to take your vehicle! They are incredibly friendly, helpful, reasonably priced, and VERY honest. They did a fantastic job on my car's mechanical repairs. I will definitely be returning and will highly recommend it to my friends and family.
