(December 10, 2018, 1:53 pm)Words cannot sufficiently express how much I appreciate thea love and care that Sebo gave to my parent. Every phone call, meeting, and interaction was a delight with everyone from the cleaning staff to the administrative team in the business office. Sebo is a very clean, friendly and well-maintainedw nursing facility. It is not the most modern in terms off decor, but they more than make up for it by having a well maintained and well-staffedw facility. It is a very clean and friendly place. They handled my family member with dignity and respect at all times. It was a relief to know that they were always on top of everything and I never had to ask them to do things for my parent. They kept me informed at all times and did their very best to make sure my parent we comfortable while inw their care This is a very well run business, and the medical team care deeply for their patients. If you care for your loved one, please do use Sebo. They have far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Sebo

(January 15, 2018, 1:36 pm)Wonderful and Caring Staff! Recently given a 4-Star Rating through the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid. Sebos is one of 7 skilled facilities in the entire Lake/Porter County with a 4-Star Rating! Compassionate and hard working staff, some of the best around!
(December 28, 2017, 10:32 pm)OK, here is the deal with Sebo's... It used to be terrible, but now it is great! I was brought here for physical rehab a week ago. I was hesitant at first due to all of the bad reviews. But the quality care navigator at St. Mary's told me that Sebo's was nearly shut down by the state - mainly because they were understaffed and patients were not being cared for properly. So a new management team was brought in. the place was remodeled and more staff was hired. I had never seen the place under the old management team, so I cannot speak to that. But I CAN tell you that ever since I have been here, the staff has been VERY RESPONSIVE to my requests for medications, assistance or even things like a glass of ice, or cookies, or to replace a lunch or dinner item I did not like. Only once did I have to wait more than 5 minutes for anything, and I waited 90 minutes for a pain pill. When the nurse brought it, she apologized and explained she was dealing with a medical emergency at the time. That is not bad, because a couple of years ago, I was at the Golden Living Center in Portage for 2 weeks, recovering from surgery and almost every request there took AT LEAST 90 minutes and sometimes several hours. They were chronically understaffed. By comparison, this place is a dream! The facility is nice, the staff is responsive and their rehab department is first rate!
