“I have been going to Kara's since the first year she opened over 25 years ago. Her staff is phenomenally friendly, and how cool is it that her beautiful mother is a receptionist?!? You are greeted with a smile and either coffee, tea, or bottled water. The staff are always learning new techniques and staying on trend, while still keeping the older generation happy. As for prices, it is a salon, so you will pay salon prices. But, they are fair prices. Nothing extreme. I chose Kara to cut my hair for all these years because she makes the hairstyle fit my face. You don't find talent like that anywhere but Kara's Hair Studio in Hobart. Thanks Kara!!!”

“Hickman' is the most trustworthy shop on Hobart. I have been taking my cars to them since they were Lake George Marathon on Wisconsin Street. Side note... to Brittany B...first, it's a tie rod not a tire rod. Second, I can promise you if someone quotes over the phone and then after looking at the car finds that it requires less work than was quoted they are not going to change the quote. And if they get it apart and find more work needs to be done(i.e. rack & pinion) they are going to tell you to pay for the additional work OR they will charge the labor to put the car back together. Take it to a place where they evaluate things in advance of giving you a quote, and avoid both scenarios.”
