“I recently attended a funeral at Hillside. A friend's mother passed away and I was so very pleased with the care and compassion demonstrated by the staff, especially Kevin; he clearly has a heart for his chosen profession. The funeral home itself is lovely; not antiquated or "typical." Oftentimes, staff merely stand around and watch but, Kevin was very much involved; he greeted guests, ensured the family had everything they needed and always made himself available. I never thought about writing a review after a funeral of all things but, Hillside definitely earned my respect and admiration for their level of service in, what I can only imagine, is a sometimes difficult business.
