There simply isn't a better coin shop anywhere in the area. Steve Clanewan is absolutely, hands down, one of the nicest, most honest and downright best numismatist around. He's friendly and welcoming and always takes the time to help you find that perfect coin for your collection and as in my case, find that perfect coin as a gift for loved ones. I could not recommend Steve and his store any higher. Stop in and say hello, you'll be pleased to find what I have said here is true.
This is a great place to do business with old coins! The owner, Steve, and his manager, Terry, are experts in this field, which was a tremendous help for me. But the best part of my experience was their friendliness, honesty and since of warmth/value as a person! I will be back soon, as I am looking forward to our next business deal. Always a pleasure to do business here. The owner is very hospitable and honestly quoted good prices. Enjoy talking with him as well. I'll be back again. Still going thru some older partial collections and just lots of loose coins as well.
I walked in yesterday with a big bucket of random coins from Grandma's basement. The gentlemen were kind & patient--- They explained everything very well & so respectfully! These guys are the coolest...Terry has become a mentor to my 14 year old son who is crazy about collecting coins and currency. They're very professional, polite, fair...and the store is impeccable! Terry has been so good with my kid that we even travel to the currency shows they attend. We've gotten some great deals and my son has learned a lot about the hobby!
