“We had to place my mother into memory care a couple years before her death. We chose El Rio based on substantial positive feedback from friends and acquaintances; we weren't disappointed. Placing a loved one in memory care is a difficult decision and action. A person with dementia likely won't be aware of their condition, and will resist being removed from familiar surroundings (and will often resist assistance from family and friends). But, eventually it may be the only option to keep the loved one (reasonably) healthy and safe. El Rio provided excellent care, and showed they really cared for their patients (clients?). It's a difficult task, but the El Rio employees were more than up to it.”
