“I am a patient at Gurrola Chiropractic and have been so for about 10 years. In my quest for pain relief and general wellness I have had several chiropractors over the years. After being treated by Dr. Gurrola for 3 or 4 weeks, I realized that my search for the right chiropractor had finally come to an end! Dr. Gurrola uses the "Gonstead Method" which is a very specific technique that many chiropractors overlook. Based on my results, this methodology is the way to go. During my treatment Dr. G. took the time to clearly explain what he is doing and why. During my adjustments he uses a very sensitive device along the spine that somehow indicates various sensitivities and relationships between the vertebrae and spinal cord. His adjustments are very precise. Ask him about his method and the tools of his methodology. As a patient I am not really qualified to try and plain the specifics of his technique. Dr. G's a really nice guy and will always take the time to answer your questions and explain everything in detail (which is far more than most other chiropractors will do). The prices for his treatment are quite reasonable the significant improvement (at least in my case) I enjoyed is are well-worth the cost! Yes, there is an upfront cost, but its understandable. You have got commit yourself to at least the minimum amount of visits determined by Dr. G. Significant, long-term progress probably isn't going to happen overnight, but it will happen if one participates appropriately in the process: (for me at least) that process included getting frequent adjustments initially and then living a spine-healthy lifestyle and getting regular maintenance adjustments. When you compare the big-picture treatment you get here with the overall price/treatment by other chiro's, you will find that the overall cost to get some serious improvement is quite fair. A single adjustment isn't going to magically fix you overnight and forever, but once you decide to commit yourself to the program some wonderful progress can be made. For me it took a few weeks of frequent adjustments to make some drastic progress - and believe me, this progress was well-worth the price and your efforts to live you life in a spine-healthy way. I apologize for the long review, but I want to see other chronic pain suffers like myself experience the results that can be had by seeing Dr. Gurrola. Good luck and Godspeed!”

“Sharing my Journey~☆ Just in case it could help anyone... I have been having problems with my bones lately...raised first rib. (Extremely Painful & I'm no Wuss) It kept getting adjusted felt better then kept popping up....I felt I was out of the woods... But then my spine felt like it was spinning & it was very painful to lay down at night. It would make waking up in the mornings almost unbearable...If I laid on my neck my vision would go blurry...one night I panicked because I could barely see...I had night sweats, and the capacity to breath kept getting less & less. This was going on 2+ maybe 3 months... I Love my job but I started to resent making people feel better when I felt so bad...I tried to downplay it because I didn't want people to feel sorry for me & I wanted to continue on as normal. As the weeks went & I thought I was better ....but it was wishful thinking. I couldn't leave the house without my handy dandy kinisiology tape or my muscles would contract so much it would feel like I was being choked out. Still trying to procede as normal.....James would tape my neck for me & I gave Tara Ryba a $&!+ load of massages because I wasn't up to my 100%......although I gave 100% of my remaining capacity. I was starting to panic & fight off feeling woah is me & depressed...I thought, what if I never feel better again? This thought began to haunt me. I went to Chiropracters although good my adjustments weren't holding. I felt like I had ribs out of place by my chest or something was locked by my clavicle & collarbone. The scariest is not being able to breathe.....for sure. Found out today that where my skull opens to neck & my first vertebrae meet.... ........Were not lining up at all....of the round circle that your spinal cord runs through...less then half of the opening was available & my body & brain were more less short circuiting.... Throwing off all of my adjustments...it was honestly torture & the pain at times made me feel like I wanted to be put in a temporary coma...no joke I am not used to chronic pain. Who wants it I know. I have so many things I want to do & was barely getting through my days... wah wah.... I know but true. Dr. Gurrolla in Laporte took many x-rays & found the source of my problem...he adjusted it once so far but have to go back for several more. To be honest... I cried....I do not like to be weak but I could finally take in a deep breath....to be more honest......I cried all the way home. Tears of relief. I know I am not totally out of the woods but this is the first day in like 3 months that I feel like myself or starting to... & I am EVER so thankful... For anyone that wants to know Dr. Gurrolla is the only one in the AREA that does this adjustment. (UPPER Cervical) Thank you Jesus!
