“This park is visually appealing with its Chinese garden and stonework buildings.. wide open spaces that still close you into the environment a bit and make you feel like you are in another place. There is also a veteran's memorial that is equally as interesting. We went there to film a few videos with a nice backdrop. This place fit the bill!”

“This is a nice park offering miles of trails throughout. There is nice hills and some ponds that can be fished. Watch out for the bicycles as they are sometimes going pretty fast. I would recommend this place to people and intend to come back again!”

“Really nice park. You can walk,fish, there is a large playground for kids and it's a good place to bring pets. The bathrooms were extremely dirty. I mean poop was wiped all over the doors. My kids had to pee and I had them pee in the grass.”

“The Anderson University campgrounds are a great place to go for a walk. There is also plenty of room if you want to go jogging and during the day it's usually pretty empty. During the spring the grass can get pretty swampy, but the park is still incredibly pristine. A excellent place to go and watch nature!”

“I think everybody around here still cause that Fairview Park that was the name for years it's a great place to walk your dog because it is loaded with trees and squirrels but I don't know what goes on there at night you got to watch when you're getting out of your car cause about every trip I make if you park in the little parking lot there is used condoms laying around but in the daytime it's a great place to walk your dog.”

“The park is known for having a bad rep especially in the late 90s and early 2000s. The park now seems to be a lot nicer than it was. It is a great park to bring children, however I would still keep close watch on them because it is not in the greatest part of Anderson”

“The river very gradually gets waist to chest high on an adult making the shallows along the shore excellent wading grounds. There is easy access to the river for paddlers and plenty of trails along the bank for anglers who don’t want to get wet. The asphalt path is horse, bike, dog, and board-friendly so yield accordingly”
