“Well I just found another soul food gem!???? Don't know how I missed this little spot! To bad they're only open on Sundays from 12 noon until 5:00. The food is delish and the staff made me feel as if I were family. Servings were plentiful and even though I didn't have dessert they were extremely temping, one of the cooks said everything was made from scratch (homemade) and they truly made a believer outta me I will definitely be returning reeeeeeal soon!”

“Had some tacos al pastor, they were the best tacos I have had in a long time. The meat was very tasty, spiced just right, not overcooked and the pineapples were still sweet and juicy. The reason for only 4 stars is because they were so slow. We ordered to go and from the time we walked until we checked out it was almost 45 minutes. Definitely not the kind of place to grab a quick lunch. I would highly recommend it if you have time but if you are on a tight schedule this is not the place to go.”

“Wow I can not explain how much this place has exceeded my expectations. I went for their soft opening for a Yelp event and they were alright but wow. This evening I went again for the first time since then and was beyond impressed. The service was spectacular and it was tamale Tuesday! One dollar off drafts and such a great selection. I started with a flight since it had been so long and ended up with the chamomile cider. Cannot recommend enough. The juniper was also delicious. It was like a gin cider which I very much enjoyed. I'll be back again soon!”
