“Green and peaceful. Had the chance to sit and rest just off the canal bike trail. Good place to walk, read, play outside and/or decompress after a hectic day.”

“Great and well-maintained mountain biking trail located in Indy. These are my local trains and the first I ever got to ride, so they are a sentimental favorite. Awesome location but isolate feel.”

“Pretty small, but nice little enclave of nature. Good for birdwatching. Just make sure to stay on the trails. This park does not have a bathroom or playground.”

“This was a good spot for both of my Labs. There's plenty of room for them to run around in and the enclosed areas make it safe for them to play with others of the same size. With the weather being what it is, it's nice to have a place where I can take them without worrying about the cold. The owners were friendly and welcoming and staff was very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back as this has already become one of their favorite places to be.”

“This place was really pretty. I might have gotten lucky and went on a good day, but I went to exercise, and ended up really enjoying myself and taking some pictures. The trails here are really nice and secluded, with little things to keep you intrigued.”

“Great spot all year round. Always bring my dog here and let him off leash. Great trails on both sides of the creek. I love it especially in the winter when it gets dusted with snow.”

“Clean and neat small playground. The playground offers sets for toddlers to maybe age 5. However, there is a larger area to the rear to walk, lounge, picnic or play field type games with older children. There are about 3 picnic tables and 3 benches near the playground area. ”

“Good rest stop.”

“Great park! Very dog friendly. If you have a pass for the bark park, your money is well spent. Well stocked with bags for “accidents” and I’d say about 90% of the other owners are great about cleaning up after their pups. Day passes are available. Most members will adhere to the policy of not letting non-members in.”

“This gets four stars just for being here. It's small, but scenic -- an unexpected little patch of wild prairie just sitting in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Good for photographers like me and, I hear, birdwatchers too. Not so hot for kids or hikers, as there's no trail that I'm aware of.”

“I participated in Indys Big Latch On 2018. The park was very clean and the kids loved it. Plenty of playground and plenty of grassy chill out areas. No splash pad, which would be a nice addition. Not many shelters.”

“Holliday park is an oasis in the middle of a city. The trails are beautiful and kept very clean, and the old broken buildings are a beautiful landmark; so very glad they kept them in the park. (Even going so far as to renovate one into a fountain. You might be able to see it in some pictures.) Do take a day and visit this park. You'll love it.”

“This is a great park. I did realize that this park was donated by a family name Holiday, until I was leaving the park. The park is just amazing. I can only image how nice their home was, here on this property. I love this park. This park should be one of the places to visit if you are every here in Indianapolis.”
