“Have stayed with them several times in different guest houses. Great locations with easy access to the lake. A nice getaway!”

“Just a cool place to eat, drink, and hang out. It’s out of the way, but the food is top notch, the drinks are fairly priced, and the ownership is throwing themselves behind supporting local live music. A place where you should be spending your money!”

“Cathy is wonderful to work with. She is sweet, professional, timely, and has a wide breadth of floral knowledge. Her floral arrangements added the perfect touch of romantic rustic charm to our wedding. During the planning process, she walked us through exactly what our package entailed, what costs we could expect, a very detailed timeline for the wedding day (very helpful!), and even worked with me when I changed my mind about which flowers I wanted halfway through! Every time I look at the pictures of our wedding, I am so glad we chose Cathy. If you are still searching for an excellent florist who creates beautiful arrangements, look no further!”

“It was a nice short hiking trail”

“Beautiful grounds with historical resting places dating back to the late 1700s. Some evidence of children and vandalism, but no paranormal experiences of note. Be aware that this cemetery actually closes at 11pm until sunup, so don't plan a trip in which you arrive in the middle of the night like my family did. ”

“I would have given it a solid five stars but in the past year, a lot of trees have been removed due to the emerald ash bore. It's still a very pretty camping area! It sits back in the woods and each camp site has a fire ring with adjustable grill top and a picnic table. The sites are decent sized, some bigger. The roads are paved and there is one street light at the east end of the campground. 2 restrooms at the east end and they ate pit toilets...pretty gnarly in warm weather so he your breath! Long, basin type sink outside the main restroom is usable only in spring, summer and fall. The knob is removed in the winter so there is no running water. The area is kept clean and tidy! There is a full playground adjacent to the campground, in other words it's not IN the campground and you cannot see it from the campsites except for 3 of them. The state forest has fantastic trails for all skill levels, 2 small lakes for fishing and beautiful THICK forest. Not nearly as crowded as Brown County or Monroe..but can get full in peak camping and hunting months. Inexpensive at $13 per night ( current as of 2-2018) and ALL campsites are primitive..no electricity or water.”
