(March 27, 2016, 4:21 pm)Fascinating historic landmark! One of the only surviving French colonial homes in the entire Ohio River Valley region! The grand Ohio River flood destroyed most remnants of any surviving colonial homes from the period. A true historic treasure! I happen to be next door neighbors!

The Musee de Venoge historic site near Vevay would like to invite the community to attend a special "War of 1812 Muster" on the grounds on June 20th-21st. The event will be held from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday; and from noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
