They are so helpful and kind ,just the nicest people ❤️
One of the best library I've been to. Excellent activities, something for everyone! The staff is the best ever. Always welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly!!
Great library, fun activities planned all week long. Great staff who enjoy what they do! Storytime is always a joy with the little ones!
The Union County Public Library is wonderful. Karen Kahl, Director, is a kind, helpful person; and the library is very well run, as well as being a lovely facility.
The staff were helpful and the small genealogy department is excellent. Karen Coffey, the genealogist is a great source of information about the early days of Union County, as it transitioned from the Indiana Territory through several counties to the current Union Co., around 1821.
I look forward to returning with enough time to relax and enjoy going through the books and folders I didn't get to, and plan to work on non-Indiana ancestors, also, using the books with info on other states.
I also made great discoveries at the Union County Courthouse, where the staff were kind and helpful. And, I enjoyed my stay at the Butler Inn, thirteen miles east in Oxford, OH. Lovely couple managing the clean and comfortable motel.
This Carnegie library is the hidden gem of Union County! If you're interested in Union County genealogy and/or Indiana history, there is abundant material. Besides all the typical public library materials to loan, this library is truly the community center of the county.
