“What a surprise! Who needs ferns and brass railings when the food is so delish? Filet mignon and ribs were great. The filet was truly medium rare, as ordered, with a wonderful sear. The twice mashed potatoes were tasty too. And the owner checked on our table twice. Our waitress was a sweetheart, prices were great, portions are hearty and I was truly pleasantly surprised. We are taking home plenty— for tomorrow when we recover from this bounty.”
