“I love coming here with my friends and family I love the lazy river a lot. However, I just wish they would play more appropriate music. The last time I was there the last time I was there they were playing really bad music that really should not have been playing with kids around. Descriptive sexual things and drugs and stuff. And it was loud too. Like someone else had just switched control of the speaker. Most likely a teenager, since almost all of the staff there are teens. I talked to someone about it and she said she would take care of it but the music still continued loudly. The lifegaurds on the slide have also been really ill-mannered to people. Regardless, I had a lot of fun. The concessions staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Hot outside? Kids feeling pent-up? Looking to cool down as part of your summer down time? Head to River Run Family Water Park! This family fun park has something for everyone - water slides, lazy river, splash area, zero entry traditional swimming pool and a steamboat inspired water play feature. My personal favorite is the lazy river which allows guest to relax as you move on an inner tube around the park’s slide area. Each attraction is well maintained and the facility is very clean and inviting. On safety, the City of New Albany also has a small army of life guards to quickly respond to any situation imaginable. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Food and drink is also available. Recommend the shaved ice stand near the pool-house and the burger from the concession stand. The cost for entry is very reasonable - $8 for Floyd Co. residents - a little higher for those out of county, but still a steal. Great job New Albany. A favorite for our family!”

“This is the 1st time I have ever been here & the 1st time my son has been here for mini golf. The course is very well kept & clean. The staff is super friendly, which is a definite plus! My son is 11 & was excited to be able to ride the go karts by himself this time around. The manager on duty, MacKenzie(sp?) was super friendly. She came inside the arcade area to try to fix a problem some employees were having & took my drink order right after. The slushee machine was down, so I ordered 2 pops instead(perfectly fine by me!) We talked about the service industry & how hard it is to be kind sometimes. I told her how much I appreciate how kind & happy everyone had been during our visit so far, and for our kindness & patience, she gave us a $25 credit towards the arcade! My son was ecstatic, especially because I had already told him I didn't have the extra money to play any games today! So thank you for making his day even better! We will definitely be back! Good job, guys!!”

“I took my kids and there friends here to enjoy some time swimming and relaxing. This place is smaller than expected, but just perfect. If you make sure to get there early then you can get some seats right in the middle and see everything. Makes for easily keeping track of the kids. You do want to get there early though as seating is difficult to find later in the afternoon. We enjoyed everything they had to offer and the food wasn't crazy expensive so that was nice. The wave pool is the best, the lazy river is a nice way to relax and the slides, well they are fun and more for the kids. The only think I wouldn't do again is the toilet bowl slide. It's a little rough on the back, but still cool overall. Get there early and have fun for a few hours, it's a great way to get away and have fun. Oh ya they also have giant chess which was fun to play. I will 100% be going again.”

“So happy it's finished! This Park is beautiful 😍 Nicely done in rainbow themed and musical instruments throughout the play area and the splash pad is one of the biggest ones in the area. Even downtown Valparaiso looks minùte to this Portage Founders. Thank you to the city of Portage. We now travel out here just for this beautiful landscape! 💖 What a great day we had!!!!”

“Indy ScreamPark boasts big scares, but is it true? I was pleasantly surprised to find such a large Halloween event while traveling through Indiana so early in the haunt season. I had seen billboards promoting the haunted attraction and everyone I asked locally seemed to have heard of them. I decided to make the drive to Anderson to find out for myself. I could tell it was a large event as I pulled up into the large parking area. I didn’t have a lot of time due to my busy schedule and had gotten there very late in the evening. The box office was kind enough to send me through VIP so I would have the opportunity to see all of the haunts. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this seemingly pop-up Halloween fair. There were 5 different mazes and a nice midway area. Most of the haunts were enclosed and at times even quite claustrophobic depending on whether or not you allowed the actors to make the experience interactive. The Backwoods haunt was much more open and a very different type of walk through than the others. It honestly was my least favorite style of haunt, but allows for the guests to have that dark alone time to get themselves in the mindset to be scared. It’s just not really the type of scare that works on me personally, I imagine many others find it terrifying. I enjoyed the interactive moments in the other attractions. I liked being pulled from the group and inserted into the storytelling and scenes. I loved the personalized moments the most. The actors did a wonderful job throughout the event. I found many of the scenes in the attractions to have impressive set design and props. I especially liked the use of electricity in one of the scenes that stood out the most to me. Overall I found this to be a very well done event with great actors. Was I scared? A few times they really got me with the jump scares. Do I think the average person (that doesn’t travel the country going to haunted houses) would be scared? Yes. I recommend Indy Scream Park. I think you’ll have a great time.”

“This is probably the most fun you can have on the snow within 30 min of Indianapolis. They make their own snow so you don't have to wait until the next snowstorm to have fun sliding down a big hill. Plus they have a tow rope so you don't even have to climb up the hill, you just sit on the tube and the rope pulls you up. The slopes we're fast and smooth when I went, they do a great job maintaining them. They also have an building with a heater, hot chocolate, and bathrooms for you to get out of the cold.”

“We visited the indoor pool on a school day from noon-2. It was perfect for parents and young children(0-5). Plenty of moms with little ones but not crowded at all. The toddler curly water slide is great. So is the lazy river etc. Must be 48” to ride the big slide. We would go back in a heartbeat. Facility is immaculate, serious lifeguards - top quality. A huge weekend crowd would definitely ruin it for me though.”

“Best experience. Lowest rate. It's a steal! My experience with Sonny Side of Scuba is still very fresh. (I got my open water certification a few weeks ago.) And I can honestly say, Paul does a fantastic job. He's personable, funny, very knowledgeable, and real with you. Everything you would want in an instructor as you learn to Scuba dive. Paul does a great job of getting you comfortable in the water, while also making sure you understand just how important it is to stay safe. Being honest here, some of the horror stories you hear about Scuba diving, can be pretty intimidating. However, Paul teaches you how to prevent those situations, as well as practices the safety techniques with you too. One portion of the class is in a pool, where you and Paul are able to get comfortable with all of the gear and what it feels like breathing underwater (it's pretty cool). That's where Paul does an awesome job of helping you stay cool in unexpected situations (your mask gets knocked off, your regulator stays open, and even your partner is out of air!). After demonstrating the skills, if he thinks you got it, you move on. However, if Paul thinks you struggled a bit, he'll be real with you, and you both will go over it again, until you get it. He doesn't want you leaving the pool until he feels you can keep yourself safe with all of the techniques you learn. Finally, THE PRICE. I have yet to find an instruction service where the small private lesson is cheaper than the big public classes. Ski lessons? Nope. Swim lessons? Nope. Even those wine&painting classes my girl drags me to. It's always more expensive if you want a small private lesson! But that's not the case with Sonny Side of Scuba. Paul offers you the best experience at the lowest rate. And with the small classes you get a ton of individualized help. He doesn't try to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need, he just let's you learn how to dive, without breaking your bank. You'll want to spend hundreds of dollars on trips to tropical paradises, so you can dive in the crystal clear waters. But why should you spend just as much money, to get your certification, on a large class that makes you feel like a number? When you can save some of that money, learn easier, have a great time doing it, and come out with the same certification as the guy who shelled out twice as much money for half of the fun! It's your call! I made mine, and loved it. Give Paul a call and see what I mean. Good luck, and have fun!”

“The splash pad is great except a few minor features don't work anymore. For example, one of the buckets that is supposed to fill and dump doesn't dump anymore. The playgrounds are okay. They don't have slides, but they don't go very high either, which means I'm more comfortable being my small child there.”

“Went to the Toddler Time on a Saturday. This place was great. Not hard to find and this is in an industrial/office park. 2 adults and a 4 year old got an hour of entertainment for $34 (really didn't need anymore than that). This includes the socks you have to buy from them. The next trip will cost $24. Very family friendly with plenty of friendly staff available at every jumping area. Didn't try the concessions but the prices are movie theatre comparable. Definitely recommend and we will be back.”
