Really good laid out museum many, many exhibits. The outside exhibits seem like they went on forever.
This is a great little museum. To many people overlook it and miss out. If you're ever looking for something to do in El Dorado this place is worth a visit.
Really interesting museum with lots to see. It's more than just an oil museum. The museum has displays of early settler life in Butler Co., Kansas. The physical displays of oil exploration devices are incredible. On the day we visited, docents were firing up an oil drilling rig.
When I have thoughts of oil (if ever I do)
I think of Texas. This area of Kansas was a major player in oil exploration and production. To a non-native Kansan it was a real education.
It's was pretty cool here! Even my 2.5year old enjoyed it!
Wonderful museum. My daughter keeps asking when we can go back. Loved it. It has something for everyone. The fact feel to the history buff. And the inner child in us all.
