“Great campground and fishing (I caught more trees than fish though). They have sailboat-like picnic tables that can be turned to block the sun or wind which is pretty nifty.”

“I had to make light just so you can see my picture or it would have been all dark and you would have been able to see the beautiful galaxy above, Cool Wind rolling off the water to soothe your earlier sunburn as you enjoyed fine fishing excellent swimming and where the term "good people" originated”

“Was there for kids camp this last week. It was great! The services were good, the salad bar was amazing. The grounds have a lot of fun things to do. Glow in the dark dodgeball, rock climbing wall, 9 square in the air, Gaga ball, some carpet ball tables that could use a little bit of updating. The pond has the blob which is great, a makeshift water slide that isn't amazing, but works for kids. The swimming area works well and they have kayaks and paddle boats as well. Some of the cabins could use some updating, but there are just so many that it makes it hard to do them all. All of the cabins have air conditioning and lots of bunk room. I believe the camp can hold a little over 500. It's not the newest, most up to date retreat center around, but it's a good affordable option for most people looking for a place in the area.”

“This very quiet park features lots of deciduous trees with a large open area and average sized sites with gravel pads. We visited for 3 nights mid-week and most of the units appeared unoccupied. I assume they are seasonals/permanents and used more on the weekends. In one area they looked like people working in the area in the short term, which is common. The bathhouse is dated and institutional but has been upgraded with tile floors and is functional and reasonably clean but stained with age. There is a pond by the lower level that I think you can swim in but otherwise no playground or other kid oriented equipment that I noticed. Sites are all water/electric with a dump site and free use of a “honey bucket” cart to empty your tanks. The downside to this location is you must drive about 2 miles on good gravel roads that are very dusty. Your vehicle will be very dirty. The Wifi worked pretty well. Propane refills are available.”

“Just 24 minutes from my house. The walking trails were fun, even better on bikes I'm sure. Swimming beach was fun to get our feet wet and kids played in the sand. Season passes are very affordable so we upgraded and can come back anytime this year. Friendly staff and we even got to see one of the bald Eagle pair that's been coming there to mate every winter for ten years!”
