The owners treat you like family and the instructors are highly qualified/skilled and very responsive to all students’ particular needs. I’ve learned that being small (or having a physical limitation) doesn’t mean you can’t defend yourself effectively. It just means that you may need to approach the situation differently. They'll teach you how to modify techniques when necessary. Anyone can do this. I’ve also improved my physical fitness and developed deep friendships with many people there.
