“On behalf of my beagle baby girl, Lucy, "Barooooooo!!!" Translation, "It's awesome!!!" I love the open, off leash trails (not that I'd ever let Lucy off leash, she's a beagle after all) for getting good exercise. Plus, the fenced in area is ideal for letting my beagle run around free of leashing without me constantly worrying about her nose getting her in trouble. ????????????”

Low Maintenance Landscape, Inc.

Address: 801 Comet Ln, Lawrence, KS 66049, USA

Park

“They may call it Low Maintenance - but it's no maintenance for me because they take great care of it for me! My back yard was a HUGE challenge - steep slope and a thin layer of dirt over solid limestone. Tried and failed several times at planting things on our own. Eventually we had several different services pitch different ideas, but Ryan and the gang came up with ideas sounded like they might actually work and were more cost effective too. Now we have a cooler, quieter back yard space with greater privacy that looks great and I don't have to mow the big hill anymore! Their ongoing maintenance service keeps the neighbors happy and I don't have to even think about it, much less DO it.”

Park

“I loved bringing the kids here when they were younger and I lived in Lawrence. There was always something fun for them to do inside and out. They loved this community center! When I move back this summer I plan to make use of their facilities again with their little cousins. I love the outdoor playgrounds, the open fields and the baseball diamonds. When the weather is bad the kids would play air hockey and racquetball in the gym. It's one of Lawrence's gems that everyone should take advantage of.”

Peterson Park

Address: 2250 Peterson Rd, Lawrence, KS 66049, USA

Park

“It is a great neighborhood park. The downside for the park is it doesn't has a lot of shaded spots. It is fine during the cooler weather. It is very horrible during the hot summer that we usually has. Be careful when you took your younger child or children there during the summer. Some equipment might be really heat up. Making sure you exam them all when you let go your child to play inside the play ground.”
