It's a nice quiet place located right next to a really nice big park that has tons of play equipment for your kids.

This is a great place to learn about Kansas' early history while it was becoming a state.
One of the best tours I've ever had. The period-costumed docent gave an inspiring 15 minute chat about the events that happened in Lecompton and its effect on the 1860 election and the history of the United States. The first floor has some well-designed displays.
