“Always the place to go on Friday nights. The Free State Firebirds almost ALWAYS win by nearly 20 points or more! I'm in the Freshman Concert Band, so I was in the Pep Band 3 times. I play the trumpet. That's where I met my girlfriend. She plays the Mellophone and she stood a row in front of me. We met and now we're dating! Anyway, back on topic. It's very well constructed, and the prices are average. The only reason I took a star off of 5 was because the Football Field turf was made worse. The old one was bad, but why is the Firebird's head GREEN? Not cool, Free State. Next time, hire someone who isn't colorblind.”

“saw Baker men's soccer game on sunny, windy Kansas summer day - whew, brought own shade with an umbrella. hard won & entertaining game. excellent playing field & support supplies for players (plentious water & ice jugs frequently refreshed, medical supplies & personnel right at hand between team benches). good stands for fans and up-to-date scoreboard & sound system. plastic, fold-down stadium seats weather worn but still work fine. a nice bonus is the beautifully charming natural stone outer stadium walls & rock wall built by students in the 1930's, honoring 13 Baker alums who died in WWI. the masonry is artfully designed and appears excellently maintained. check out the pictures for some examples. thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
