(January 10, 2023, 11:06 pm)Since we saved Camp Hawk from being sold by the county, the park is thriving! The addition of the cabins and RV pads have been a big bonus. The county fixed the dam, and fishing has improved. Finally, volunteers installed new baskets on the disc golf course. There's still work to do, but there is a lot of good energy and momentum.
(November 1, 2021, 9:51 am)Casual outdoor Wedding Venue. Wonderful. Beautiful. For small weddings with it's the perfect place. Budget wise you can't go wrong. We had the most wonderful time at Gabe and Taylers wedding October 30th 2021.
(May 16, 2019, 12:18 am)Camp Hawk was a 'Plan B', but it was great! Playground (slide, merry-go-round, & swingset), baseball diamond w/ bases, picnic shelter (5 tables, restroom, outlet, & spigot), basketball court (2 goals), small pond w/ dock, frisbee golf course (18 hole??) -only disappointments were the lack of trails & proximity to railway.
