“We just moved here from another city several hundred miles away and were searching for a new vet as our dog was due for shots. Zara loves people one on one, but can be reactive if surrounded by other dogs in a rush. So this was perfect for her to trot out to a mobile van, be given treats and a few pinches and blood draw. Pastor Anne and the staff have treated me with such love and respect knowing my position. I spent 30 years as an Evangelical Pastor so I understand the inner-workings of a church, and Pastor Adam and the COR Staff are doing a fabulous job building a Jesus Loving Community here in Kansas City. So even if you'd consider yourself to be a non-believer, but lack community or a weekly dose of Love, Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness, and Compassion ... then start attending COR. It would be a great New Years Goal for the coming year. I actually know Pastor Adam personally having grown up with him I can tell you he is legit. He is sincere and genuine in his pursuit and it reflects in the success of COR. I love the heart and mission of COR, I think you will too.”

“Scott Russell is a very calm caring person. He’s helped me feel a lot better when I’m feeling pretty blah weak and tired. He seems to care about my mental state. It’s just nice going and knowing to a Dr that helps. There’s been times I’ve been pretty down and weak. He suggested to try this or that. A week or two later I was back to feeling normal. This has happened several times. If he can uiiuuiiumake someone feel a lot better each time. It tells me he cares. I’m glad that I followed him over to St Luke’s. It’s hard to find a Dr that cares!!!!”

“My knee replacement in August 2020 by Dr. T.J. Rasmussen couldn't have gone better. I had a pretty bad knee (severe arthritis from torn & repaired ACL decades ago). I was afraid it might not ever be fully repairable. But Dr. T.J. did a fantastic job replacing my knee. After 10 weeks of post-surgery physical therapy, it was doing great and still is. Dr. T.J. is an excellent surgeon, meticulous and caring. I was very pleased with him and his staff and the hospital experience at KCOI.”

I met the director Devin and he was the most nicest person, while I was waiting to do some paperwork he asked me would I like to have a bowl of soup? I felt kinda special. Out of all the years and places I've worked no one has ever done that before, and he kindly escorted me to the staff lounge. And the Staffing coordinator Ms. Dorcas was so nice and polite and very professional. I am excited about being a part of the Sunrise team. I feel this will be a great place for me.”
