The playground is great for kids with a good mulch underneath for any falls, the wide open field is great for sport or letting your dog get a quick run in (leashed of course), the baseball diamond is well maintained, and the walking trail is great for getting your steps in. All around great local park!

(July 12, 2018, 12:10 pm)Nice lunch spot near all of the restaurant on Johnson Drive in Mission. But, the park is far enough away from the main road to feel like you are "away" for just a moment. The park could use a few more tree, so the parking area will be very bright at midday. There is a trail for walking, playground equipment, and a sports field. There is also plenty of just grass to run around and enjoy. Great place for a picnic.

Free food, bouncy house for the kids, activities and games for kids, music, water Cannon spray by the fire department, kid activities and gifts by Mission police department. Everything capped by a fireworks display at the end of the night.
