“I am VERY picky when it comes to my nails and Emily is the greatest I have ever been to, no argument about it. She takes her time and has an eye for detail, making sure you are always leaving happy. I have an obsession with black nails, and when she did not have the color she found one that was basically identical (a very dark purple) and by my next appointment she had bought a black polish- if this is not the best customer service then I have no idea what is! It took me many years to find her and I will not let her go!!! The salon itself is adorable, always clean and the staff is so friendly! Make sure you pop by there for a great experience :)”

“Pam is magical! Myself and all 3 of my girls have been clients of hers for 3 years now and I wouldn’t let anyone else touch our hair! We all have massive amounts of hair with a plethora of textures! She takes the time to listen. She communicates in a clear and concise manner and asks just the right questions to ensure that she has a complete understanding of all of our needs! She always has any and every product available to achieve our hair goals! If we switch it up.... she has a product! She also has just the right products/tools for us to take home and make sure we know exactly how to achieve our favorite looks for ourselves! “Having a massage is all about who is doing. I have been having massage from Debbie for a long time. After my mom and dad started doing it for arthritis and back problems. I tried it and it helps a lot with my back problems. Since she has moved to this location there was some problems with the front office staff. Though they cleared it all up and haven’t had a bad appointment ever. If you have sore or pains you should really look into getting a medicinal massage done. Though book ahead of you want Debbie her schedule gets full quickly!!”

“I have a vintage mouton fur coat that needed cleaning. After researching all over Kansas City, I went with Alaskan Fur. I remember the jingle from the nineties! Other cleaners told me it would be weeks, and would have to be shipped somewhere else for the cleaning, the cost was almost double what Alaskan Fur's price was. I could tell my coat was carefully inspected and thoroughly cleaned. Also, with annual cleaning I will be able to enjoy my vintage fur coat for years to come. I would definitely recommend Alaskan Fur to family and friends.”

“(I wasn't able to take any photos when I was at the Half Price bookstore when I was in their bookstore, but I was able to find a used book that I was looking for...) Hi there, I was looking for a used book called "A Dog's Way Home" and I'm so glad that I was able to finally locate a great copy of that book!!. I tried check out this book from the public library near Overland Park, KS, but I really wanted to own this book "free and clear"... so I really hoped that I would be able to find this book from a Half Price Books and I did! If you're looking for a used book, CD, record, then please consider giving this retail store a chance. There are many, many Half Price Books across the country, so give Half Price Books a chance to help you out. Half Price Books has a website address, but I'm not sure what that web address is for now. “I hadn't been here in so long but decided to bring my wife here for her birthday and I remembered instantly why I LOVE this place! Sure it's a bit pricey but to me it's worth every penny. From waiting for a table at the bar area to getting our food it was the best experience for myself and my wife. Everything there was super delicious, freshly made and our server was outstanding!
