  This is the best place to take your kiddos to in and around the Kansas City metro area. My family buys a season pass every year and spend a lot of time here. You can feed many of the animals here including goats, sheep, fish, ducks, chickens, and more. The mining camp is super fun, buy a bag of gems filled with sand and sift it in their mining trough and see what awesome genuine gem stones are inside, honestly I might like this more than my kids. They have an ice cream parlor, an early 1900s bank, butterfly garden, dairy barn, fishing pond, pony rides, replica one room schoolhouse, Indian encampment, blacksmith shop, and so much more. Our one tradition every time we go is to buy their salt water taffy, you get 4 for a dollar and tons of flavors to choose from. Also they have, in my opinion, the best holiday light display in Kansas City- Park in the parking lot, tune into a specific radio station and watch the magic happen with a 38 minute animated show.

  Family fun for all ages. We enjoyed walking around, feeding the animals - especially bottle feeding the baby goats - & watching the cow being milked. Our company, Billie Bauer & Co. - Keller Williams Real Estate had a client appreciation party here . . . Fun was had by all.

  An incredible place. It’s been about 10 years since I’ve been there yet, I still remember it. Even I’m 14, I would love to go back there. Definitely the best place of my childhood. Me and my friend would go about every other weekend. My favorite part had to of been the goats.

  We love Deanna rose! It is a nominal fee to get in and provides hours of fun. The kids learn something every time we go, mostly about life in Kansas years ago. There are many different play areas which provide fun for all ages (however it would be nice to see more inclusive areas). There are a very good number of animals, and even petting areas. The kids love seeing all the animals and, of course, getting ice cream from the shop on the way out.

  My family and I LOVE Deanna Rose! It's only $2 per person and well worth that price. My toddler loves bottle feeding the baby goats and they have so many age appropriate playgrounds for him to enjoy. On top of that, there is free admission after 2pm and they are open until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer. We are lucky to live so close to such a neat place.
