“I've been to the majority of Tanner's in the KC Metro and this location is the best! On my last visit the bartender, Hallie, was a rockstar. She was very personable but yet productive; she attended to the entire bar while engaging with costumers. This service standard seemed consistent amongst the staff. This location also has a 'private' room for large groups or other special occasions.”

“The atmosphere at One Block South is always really fun and upbeat. In my opinion, Fuel has the best music out of the bars here. Last night I ordered a screwdriver and the orange juice tasted weird, they had no problem getting me a new one and didn't even act like I was putting them out like most bars would if I asked for a new drink. Overall always a good experience here.”

“I have been coming to the place 18 years now. I love coming here on Monday's for taco night. While most places use taco shells similar to Taco Bell, this place uses real tortillas the are form and fried into a hard shell for your tacos. The are also biggest tacos you will find at any Taco Night in town. 3 tacos is comfortably filling, 4 tacos and I'm stuffed. This place is family owned and the owner is always there, most likely he will be the one to seat you:) If you come on Monday, I'll probably see you there!”

Their dining room is spacious with an assortment of table sizes and Greek decor on the walls. The restaurant and restroom are always neat, clean and well stocked. “Beer was fantastic, service was upbeat and friendly, and the appetizers we had were good. We went during reverse happy hour and the drinks were amazingly cheap. We got our fill and were under $20 for everything. The atmosphere here is lively and loud but very enjoyable. Lots of TVs to watch. I think the best part is how late they stay open compared to other breweries around town. Granted this isn't the actual brewery location, but it's nice to go to a tap room that's open late.”
