The preschool is always clean and neat, it provides a good environment for the kids to learn and grow in. With field trips and other fun activities for them to enjoy. They also do a fantastic job of attending to the kids with special needs. Everyone of them is loved and treated with kindness. “So many things just within walking distance of this hotel. Seriously, there are multiple restaurants, a great ice cream stop, an Indoor Entertainment business called The Alley, and grocery stores all in the same Plaza. Lively area during the weekend, but not so much that you can't get around without bumping into people. Rooms however, there was a mixup with us reserving two kings and ending up either two queens, big bummer but we didn't ask for a resolution since service was so friendly. The heater in our room tended to decide what it wanted to do on it's own and for some reason, really preferred to give us cold A/C rather than heating. So, thermostat was also a huge thumbs down for making nights colder than weather was actually outside. We all reported scratchy bed sheets and covers, recommend having your own just in case. Altogether, breakfast bar was seriously worth the morning visit! Not just a couple fruits and a cereal bar. It really had the works and it felt like a lot of options. Enjoyed our stay.”

“My three children have loved going to Wichita Friends School! You won't find a school anywhere else that has teachers who are TRULY passionate about the kids and seeing them succeed. They are all well-trained and love working with kids. The school has high academic expectations, but also realizes that young children learn best by playing, so there's plenty of time for hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and enrichment opportunities. Their enrichment classes include Spanish, Engineering, PE, Music and Godly Play. My children have made such wonderful progress at this school, and best of all - they love going there and come home singing about God and all of his creation!”

“This place is like a museum and the staff are like curators. If you have a question probably anyone that works there has an answer. You can go there just to look and not leave there disappointed. The instruments that they have there are really beautiful. I don't use that word often. And also the prices were not super exorbitant. I will go there again.”

“My twin boys are so well taken care of at this facility I highly recommend for every parent needing child care. They are always coming home with incredible crafts and art projects they have made. Each time I pick them up they can't stop talking about all the fun and learning they had throughout the week. The staff has been so fantastic in keeping me well informed about any and all challenges we are facing during their development. I have been involved with zoom meetings as well as office visits to discuss in lengthy detail how I can be as involved in their life as possible. This has meant even arranging visitation times toward the end of a weekday when my busy hectic life has prevented me from having frequent enough visitation with them. They have gone above and beyond for my family and I. Very healthy meals provided that they even get to be involved in helping with the preparation of. My boys have been here since they were infants and are already now, after only just turning 4, preparing for Kindergarten in a Pre-K and Preschool program within the facility. New Horizon in Shorewood really is the best! Thank you for all that you do!!”
