“Great variety of equipment. A little cleaning would go a long ways. It’s been dirty for years, not just since Covid.. The west ymca always has someone running around vacuuming ledges and equipment and wiping down equipment. Of course, y members need to make an effort too.”

“At 57, I knew I wanted to make some changes in my physical well-being. A friend suggested Go Time Training, and I am so glad she did. Great people, great trainers, great facilities, and great, personalized programs to help me reach the goals I have set for myself. Because of this, in my first six weeks, I have lost 11.7 lbs of body fat, dropping my percent body fat by 4.2%, and lost 2 inches off my waist. I have gained 3 lbs of muscle, increased my flexibility, and have made very noticeable improvements in my strength, flexibility, and balance. Whatever your goals may be; whether you want to have more energy to play with the kids or grandkids, or if you want to get in shape to do something EPIC when you turn 60 (like me!) - Go Time will give you the tools, the guidance, the encouragement and support, and the personal accountability to get you there!”

“Sunshine family yoga has played such a wonderful role in my parenting journey! I did prenatal yoga with Sheryl for both of my pregnancies and had such a great experience. Sheryl provides a calming environment and shares numerous techniques to ease discomfort and improve your birthing experience. I have also attended baby, tot, and tyke yoga with my daughter and baby yoga with my son. It’s been a wonderful way to connect with my children and to learn ways to help them relax. I’ve also loved the sense of community that she fosters in her studio. Some of my closest friends are ladies I met at SFY. I would highly recommend attending classes at Sunshine Family Yoga to anyone pregnant or with young children.”

“I joined this gym back in 2020 and I have consistently been going for almost two years now. Peyton genuinely cares about your health goals and keeping you accountable to them. I even tried to cancel at one point but he didn’t let that happen. Instead he offered advice and help with workouts to keep me motivated. This gym is truly awesome and has helped my wife and I so much with living a healthier lifestyle. We love the gym community that is there as well. There are a lot of good people that will encourage and help you push through those tough workouts. Anyone in the Park City or Valley Center area should definitely go try this gym out and support a local business that cares about its members. If I could I’d pack this whole gym up and move it to Texas with us!”

“It's the best gym I've ever been to. All of the instructors have competed at a high level, they're patient, and don't just throw you to the wolves. They've got classes just for women, old people, and kids as well as coed.”

“I have been working with Compelled Nutrition for 1.5 years. The reason that I decided to join was that I had been working on my weight loss for over 2 years and had made great strides on my own but I just could not seem to get any further. I approached Becky and we talked about the fact that I needed further assistance with my nutrition. She then in turn got me in contact with Bubbles and she has help me understand more about nutrition and what I actually needed to do to make progress. It has also made a big difference in how I feel about food and what is necessary for my own well-being. Even though I have only lost 18.5 pounds over this time, I have done this without actually being on a "restrictive diet." I eat real food and it is not restrictive other than what I have to do normally. I would recommend working with Compelled Nutrition as they are all about health and not a restrictive diet (you learn more about the nutritional factors of food and want "your" body needs). I also have to say that I started out walking and now I run 5- days a week (usually 7-8.5 miles) at a time. I never thought I would be able to do this, but I can and I love doing it. This whole process has made a great different to my mental and physical well-being. Again, what I would say to someone is if you are looking for a place that looks at everyone as an individual and tailors their program personally (both in the gym and also Compelled Nutrition), then Compelled Fitness and Nutrition is the place to go!.”

“Hanna is a fabulous trainer. I have benefited so much from her classes. My running has definitely improved since I’ve been training with her. I highly recommend her for the beginner to the seasoned athlete. You will learn so much, be stronger, avoid injury and feel great! I debated over joining a fitness studio for years since we have a membership to the Y. But am so glad I did. Hanna gives me the individual feedback and adjustments that I really need to ensure that I am doing the exercises correctly for maximum benefit and to ensure that I don’t injure myself while doing them.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. my 4 year old is in the little lutadors class and he loves it. He talks about it all week. The coaches do an amazing job with the kids. They’re able to get the little ones to pay attention because their class is so fun. This class is a great intro to sports in general, not just Jiu Jitsu. They do calisthenics and drills which are cleverly disguised as fun games and competition. They develop kids balance, strength, confidence everything needed in all sports including Jiu Jitsu technique. The coaches are black belts too. Sometimes in martial arts schools you will see talented high school kids teaching the young kids. This one has black belts teaching kids as young as 4! The facility is new and super clean and has the best equipment. Prices are affordable and more than fair, they even throw in a gi with their already fair pricing. Check them out! Kids need exercise and they will keep wanting to go back to fox fitness.”

“I attended a workshop in December to learn more about pain management. I was dealing with an inflamed elbow like tennis elbow that developed after a repetitive motion for several hours one day. After learning how to release tense areas I was feeling some relief. I set up some sessions with Nathan and he incorporated some upper arm/shoulder techniques. I am feeling more relief in my elbow and last week I had a couple of pain free days, which I haven't had since the end of November. At the end of November I couldn't even pick up a dinner plate without pain shooting in my arm. Today I can pick up 10-15 lbs. and the little amount of pain I have is tolerable. Looking forward to continuing my sessions and getting to those pain free days.”
