“Gaston's did a perfect professional job on our new floor! They are a reputable local Wellington business. That i will recommend over and over again. After needing our carpet out and replaced with something else. We stopped in to look at our options. And they had plenty. They have or can order almost any kind of flooring you can think of. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in saving us time in finding exactly what we needed and wanted. I expected to spend at least an hr reviewing options and we had it narrowed to a decision in a little over 15 minutes. We had our new Shaw floors installed by them also. And was thrilled to have them completed half a week ahead of schedule. Now about that. Some contractors will work at a snail pace or show up late and leave you hanging with no communication. NOT THESES GUYS! Communication was great during the entire process. They were promptly on time every day. Marc (clean cut and professional looking) is one of the hardest working precision executing people I have ever seen. The entire job estimated out at 10 to 13 business days. We were done in 8 days. And there is not a defect anywhere. No shortcuts were taken. It was done right!”

“I stayed here on Oct 7, 2022, while traveling From South Texas to Iowa for work. I am an older female, traveling alone, so I really look around where I chose to stay. Working on the road, I stay in hotels/motels a lot. I will admit, when I pulled into the parking lot I was concerned. There were no cars in the parking lot and it looked nothing like the pictures online. There are two other hotels, right there, and I quickly looked them up online. Those reviews were less than favorable (noise, theft, etc) so I took a chance and went into this place. Yes, the lobby had a "smell". The owners are of Indian decent and it smelled like Indian food. They live there...so it smells like what they cook. The man that met me at the desk was VERY nice and I could hear his baby's giggles from the next room. I was extremely tired and he was very accommodating. Compared to the other two hotels (with bad reviews) with very crowded parking lots and sketchy people hanging out nearby, the price was spot on for a quick one night stay on my way to somewhere else. I paid for my room and drove around to my door. I like being able to park right in front of the room door and not having to trek in and out through a lobby. First thing I ALWAYS do is check for bed bugs, before I carry anything inside. Then I check the cleanliness of the toilet and shower. It was fine. It's an older motel so it's NOT a HILTON....but I don't want to pay HILTON prices to stay somewhere for 8 hours. So...I pick my battles. By Midnight, there were two other cars in the parking lot. I got inside and settled. I am a smoker so I go outside. I rolled the desk chair outside and felt completely safe sitting outside, mostly alone. Check in and out was a breeze. Nobody messed with my vehicle. I slept well. It was very inexpensive. I had one complaint but I left and said nothing. The room I was in had no hot water in the morning for my shower. I let it run for about 20 minutes, just in case. It was still lukewarm. I took a cold shower. I slept very well, so I needed that wake up call, anyway. Again, picking my battles. I leave Texas for Iowa again in the morning. I hope I can make it to this place for my first night stay. I WILL check the hot water this time, though, and I will state that when checking in, so the owner knows what my expectations are...cause it's more winter now and I'm too old for cold winter showers. There is a Casey's gas station (they have breakfast foods) across the road and a McDonald's next to that. It's an easy on and off the main highway and it's pretty flat if there is inclement weather. I had a good experience at this Motel. I hope you do, as well. I will leave another review if my next stay is any different.”

“Great place to get canned goods and toiletries. Cat treats are reasonable, too. It is a bit crowded due to narrow aisles but the savings are there. Probably shouldn't be called DOLLAR General anymore, however.”

“I have always had great care at Erickson and Gill. I had my teeth cleaned yesterday, and Kyle did an outstanding job. He is so gentle and thorough, and his sense of humor really made me feel at ease. Every time I’ve had an emergency, they saw me right away. Dr. Gill and the dentists here are all gentle and knowledgeable. The staff is great as well. 😃”

“All diners are awesome! Just saying. After officiating a swim meet in Wellington, we came upon Penny's. I love LOVE diners. I always try to get what the cook recommends, but sometimes, the Philly Cheesesteak just pushes its way to my brain. Worth it! I love watching the cook and the waitress (I assume Penny) do their thing. Its a carefully choreographed dance where minimal verbal communication and body movements become one. Obviously a very busy location, but it is worth your time and hard earned cash to come here. This is NOT fast food. This is a meal prepared in front of you down home good cooking! ENJOY!”
