“They perform every year at the Lawrence KS Busker Festival and always draw a large crowd for a good reason. They are something to behold. They make it look so easy but you know it's not. Amazing talent and feats of tremendous strength with grace and poise. If you get the opportunity to see them take it, you'll be glad you did.”

“I did the 200 hour yoga teachers' training course. It's a wonderful course. Very intensive - it's a good idea to start reading materials a good three months in advance. Darryl is a great teacher and creates a lovely atmosphere. The course is very holistic and provides a good broad base for yoga teaching.”

“Literally, life changing!! Scott and the entire BodySmith team are amazing!!! They’ve created a community at BodySmith that’s like family, too. I am motivated & energized every time I walk into the gym and I look forward to my workouts. Kelsey has been my trainer for almost a year and I can’t recommend her enough! I am in the best, healthiest shape of my life. She is invested in me, my workouts, my body, my nutrition/health and my personal life. If you’re even considering working out with a trainer, don’t hesitate. Go meet Scott and his team and you’ll be hooked.”

“An excellent place to work out. The only complaint is a generic complaint and that is that sometimes it’s too busy. I love the staff here. They are always willing to help and do a great job reaching out to patrons. I’m greeted by name by nearly everyone and they are always smiling and happy to see us.”

“What a hidden treasure! Looking at turner Rec newsletter and saw the boxing program. I saw a familiar name, John Brown. This man without knowing it changed the direction of my life in the early 70s. He through his boxing program at the Parrish house taught me a work ethic , discipline, character, sportsmanship, and many other valuable life lessons that transcend just boxing! I KNEW my son would be in good hands. You see my son is autistic ( has autism). He was very nervous about someone “hitting him” but Tyler and John and Missy teach safety (defense) first and foremost. My little man has blossomed in work ethic at home , respect and confidence. They mold young boys and girls to be more, to aspire to be more, and equip them with the tools to be more in many areas of their lives outside of just boxing.Thank you Thank you Thank you! Sincerely Brandon Dockins”

“I highly recommend Dr. Beth. She is the most caring and provides a quiet relaxing environment. Adjustments are not forceful as she uses techniques to relax my tight muscles.”

“I was vaguely interested in boxing. Thanks to Sweet Z's, it has been something I don't think I can live without. I've been going for a few months, completely new to it and not in any real fighting shape. Deciding to jump into a class at Sweet Z's has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's more than hitting bags, you're working with real people at every class. The environment is exactly the way that I pictured a real boxing gym to be - gritty and without pretenses. Every single one of the people I've met here, guys and gals are all stand up people. If you want to get in fighting shape, get real boxing instruction with real people and at incredibly reasonable price, you should give Sweet z's a try. They have all the gear and you can just show up in any workout clothes. It’s not required but you may want to bring your own hand wraps.”

“Metro Gym is Legit! Great atmosphere for those looking to focus in on getting in shape, and grow in personal fitness. The staff is friendly. Great location and building to do a diversity of working out. A great space. I love it. It you want to hit some bags take some classes, or just hit up the cardio and weights. It is the perfect place to go.”

“Excellent excellent excellent. If you want to train, train to fight, or take classes for exercise, you might as well do it with the best. So glad I joined. Some folks come for it which is great and totally welcome but I personally don't exercise, I train which helps me stay motivated and focused. I was also ready to begin doing something different and better in my life. Buying the yearly membership solidified my commitment and keeps me coming back. (I know, it's expensive upfront but it's the most cost effective and it's the same price if not better than other facilities and activities like yoga or whatever). Teachers are ???? which is so important. Take it slow in class if you're new to boxing and build your technique first! Great place to put in work and grow.”
