“Had a good message at church this morning. It was it there is no such thing as silent gratitude. So if there are things or people that you are thankful for you should open the express that. I haven't been to church for probably a month but I'm glad that I went today. I definitely appreciate my church it seems to be there for me when I need it the most. It is a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere and I'm thankful for it.”

“This Church is beyond amazing! Currently working as an unpaid Intern and I think it has been FAR better than any paying Job I’ve ever been apart of! Worship is engaging and inspiring, the word from Pastor Josh, Youth Pastor Paige, and many others is always uplifting and encouraging. And most importantly this community has made me feel part of a family bigger than my own! Much love to all who are apart of this place!”

“I felt at home. Welcome by all. The property is maintained well. The cemetery had a "feel" to it, like those in rest were calm and content being there. It's a nice place for mennonites of course, I cannot speak for new comers”

“I have never camped here or been to any of the retreats or other official activities. I have had limited interaction with staff at Camp Horizon but all of my interactions have been positive and pleasant. I have hiked there many times and it is one of the best places I've ever hiked. There are bluff trails that are physically demanding. All of the trails are visually pleasing. Sunset views from inspiration point are spectacular! You can see miles of the Walnut River Valley and the Arkansas River Valley. You can also hike all the way to the Arkansas River. One of the most intriguing aspects, apart from the beautiful scenery and wonderful landscape, are the ruins of what was allegedly a scam from back in the mid-20th century when investors were solicited for a concrete plant. There are still ruins or relics if you please down in the river bottom with those concrete structures. The trails are easily followed, meaning they are clear and you are not likely to get lost. There are also trails for mountain biking, but I have never ridden on them. Wide variety of trees and wildflowers during their appropriate seasons. Strongly recommend insect repellent during the season, both for ticks and mosquitoes.”

“Wonderful Church. We moved here recently from California & we were invited by a friend. Amazing Service. Pastor Eugene & His Wife Lovee welcome us with open arms. They are the true definition of what leadership in a church should be. After church service is over, those who wish to stay, go into another room where we fellowship & get to know one another. They ask how we are doing. The genuinely care about their church members. My new Church home”

“Friendly, welcoming people. Wonderful pastor. Great sermons. Upbeat song service. Causal attire. Never feel pressured. This is the first church out of many that I have attended that makes me want to go to church rather than feel like I have to go to church.”
Address: 1800 S Washington Ave, Wichita, KS 67211, USA
“Recently remodeled. Very beautiful, but not a stereotypically extravagant Cathedral. Homely, but still vibrant. Clergy and Father are generous, benevolent, and eager to welcome anyone willing to participate in local events hosted here, be it a mass meeting, a confessional, or some kind of community-driven effort to promote kindness, giving, love, support, or charitable gain.”

“It will be interesting to see what happens to this church since they have combined with a second area Methodist church. For a Holy Week service they were just fine.”

“If you are looking for a church in this community where family discipleship is encouraged with grace, truth, and love - this is the place! Over 30 years of being strengthened and loved by these people has made me a better follower and apprentice of Jesus. We love making Jesus Christ known to all!”
Address: 106 N Maple St, Pretty Prairie, KS 67570, USA
“Visited this church a few years ago while travelling through Kansas. Attended Sunday School and worship. Small congregation, but very friendly, inclusive, thoughtful about God's work in everyday lives, and they have an interest in Christian mysticism. Out of the blue, they also gave me a rather nice cook-book. If I'm ever back in the area I will visit again. If I lived in the area, I might have chosen this church as my community of faith.”
