“Well known, very visible Ark City church, active in the community. The time I visited we were attending a friend's birthday party as well as a potluck dinner. (What GOOD food!) Spoke with the pastor's wife and she seemed nice.”

“I have never been to a church in my entire life in which the leadership so genuinely and graciously takes something most non religious people n most Christians are bickering about n just diffuses it to perspective that revolves around kindness and bringing it back to where it’s supposed to be - Jesus. This happens over and over with like everything that the world is arguing about! If you’re looking for a church where truth is preached in the most genuinely kind, non antagonistic way, I recommend GracePointe Assembly of God - Winfield, Kansas! The experience and the name on the sign match. It is a point of grace! It’s a place where you can worship in the right spirit from a place of truth. (John 4:24)”

“I was surprised to find such a vibrant healthy church in this little town. I enjoy coming to Dexter occasionally from my home in Michigan to enjoy the sunlight and fantastic deer hunting. It was such a joy to pop in for a visit and connect with the people there. I even came early for Sunday school and that was a great blessing as well. Both Sunday school and the main service were filled almost to capacity and everyone was very engaged. May God bless the special people off Dexter Christian Church! Israel Yoder”

“I have never camped here or been to any of the retreats or other official activities. I have had limited interaction with staff at Camp Horizon but all of my interactions have been positive and pleasant. I have hiked there many times and it is one of the best places I've ever hiked. There are bluff trails that are physically demanding. All of the trails are visually pleasing. Sunset views from inspiration point are spectacular! You can see miles of the Walnut River Valley and the Arkansas River Valley. You can also hike all the way to the Arkansas River. One of the most intriguing aspects, apart from the beautiful scenery and wonderful landscape, are the ruins of what was allegedly a scam from back in the mid-20th century when investors were solicited for a concrete plant. There are still ruins or relics if you please down in the river bottom with those concrete structures. The trails are easily followed, meaning they are clear and you are not likely to get lost. There are also trails for mountain biking, but I have never ridden on them. Wide variety of trees and wildflowers during their appropriate seasons. Strongly recommend insect repellent during the season, both for ticks and mosquitoes.”

“Wonderful Church. We moved here recently from California & we were invited by a friend. Amazing Service. Pastor Eugene & His Wife Lovee welcome us with open arms. They are the true definition of what leadership in a church should be. After church service is over, those who wish to stay, go into another room where we fellowship & get to know one another. They ask how we are doing. The genuinely care about their church members. My new Church home”

“My name is Vevie McPherren-Popplewell. I visited the Church on Sunday, July 10th. I was greeted warmly, blessed with the Hymnal singing, humbled at prayer time, and inspired by Pastor Sanders words regarding Trust (Jeremiah 17: 5-15)... also, scriptures the youth shared at closing. I look forward to going back next time I am in town.”

“They are very welcoming. The congregation & the present & past Monosters always make you feel welcome & are thankful for your presences. I've been to several of their worship services & other activities for many years. My daughter, who is now, almost 63 used to go to Vacation Bible School as a young child for many years. She always enjoyed attending. I used to go with my girlfriends to their Women's Group for several years. Although I was born & raised as a Catholic, & I am still a practicing Catholic, I always enjoyed the ladies group & also their Sunday morning Sunday School prior to their church service. I also enjoy their special music & holiday programs. Throughout many decades, I have always had many friends who are devout in their Southern Baptist faith.”
