“I was brought here by coworkers who wanted to expose me to authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Both are married to Vietnamese men, so I knew I could trust their guidance! I've had egg rolls before, and these were tasty and served with a sweet and sour sauce. My friends requested fish sauce- a must in their minds - but I was not a fan. Spring rolls are a new experience for me, and these were tasty with a bright flavor courtesy of the mint leaves. We also shared a traditional Vietnamese sandwich, which was good and tasted like most other ham sandwiches (AKA: not different for my palate). When we moved to the main dishes, we shared pho (yum!), bun rieu (I had never tried blood cake, and it's ok if you don't think about it) but didn't have room for the Grilled Beef with Lemon Grass vermicelli we also ordered. Lots of good food, lots of new flavors, and a fair price. I would go back!”

Nothing a little cholula added to the gravy couldnt fix. With as well flavored as thier chicken fried steak is I was a bit disappointed. My girl had the frito pie and cinnamon roll which looked amazing and she swears it was lol. I give them 4 not 5 really just because it is such a crowded place and the wait times are often long. If they had more room or expanded, it would be a top 20.”

Adult pricing for kids starts at age 11, so be prepared for that. The dinner buffet offers more than the lunch, and is worth the price increase. Weekend lunch and dinner time can be busy, so if it bothers you to wait in a line at the buffet go outside of prime eating hours. The food is very consistent, while the service has its highs and lows. The Crab Rangoon is to die for -- fantastically priced, large, and STUFFED with cream cheese. Sometimes we order takeout just because we all want some Rangoon. Also a huge fan of the orange chicken, triple delight in garlic sauce, and lo mein (they stuff the box!).”

The burnt ends were so juicy and full of flavor, and practically melted in my mouth. They didn't need any BBQ sauce, but I still tried their sauce since it was my first time here, and their sauce was great too and complemented the meat well. And you can tell they're a good team here too. Melinda was my server but I was helped by at least three very friendly team members =) I know in KC we all have our staple BBQ restaurants we go to and kinda stick to, but I def recommend trying this place out if you're in the mood for some great new BBQ. “I got tired of my usual Panera salads, so I wanted to try this place out. I was going to order to go at first but then I saw how pretty it was inside and decided to snag a booth for two. The salads are a bit pricey but you do get a large portion if you get a regular sized one! If you're wondering they are bigger than your typical Panera salad. Service was friendly and quick! If you're trying to eat healthy this is a good starter place to go. I ordered the Tunapalooza and I asked them to add avocado instead of a hard-boiled egg as a substitute. You get a hefty amount of Tuna, yum! Also ordered smoky chilli hummus with flatbread and the flatbread was so warm! I'm pretty sure they make the hummus themselves, it had a special kick to it. They also have different tea options, the vanilla tangerine tea is delicious and you have the option to add orange or lemon slices to your tea! Will be coming back sometime to try their you pick two deal where you can get a small salad and soup.”

Got a combo apps plate and the Southwest Egg rolls were amazing, but they only had 4 of them on the plate. The Mac bites were okay and the potato skins were decent. Blueberry lemonade and limeade were interesting drinks, not bad in all honesty. I got the Cajun Chicken Philly with sweet potato fries and almost kinda wish I got it in a wrap. The pork tenderloin sliders were really good too! We did go a good while between our waitress checking up on us, but they were busy so, not bad.”

I got instructions from the local guys where I could have breakfast. even from the door you could feel the pleasant smell of the kitchen, the atmosphere was on a level, and there were only a few tables. laughter filled the room. the waitress found a seat for me and we easily agreed on the order. I had fried eggs with slightly crispy bacon and toasted bread with a glass of grape juice for breakfast. the whole bill was only $12. the interior is actually an antique! you can only see such things in movies. it was a pleasure to be your guest! my warm recommendation to everyone! and yes, I almost forgot the workers, who really took an interest in me and paid attention to me, listened carefully and asked me questions!
