“I used to go to trivia a few years ago under the old management. For a few reasons, I hadn't been back for a couple of years, until last night. I decided to try trivia again, which I had previously enjoyed. The food was good, as were the drinks. The service was excellent; the wait staff was very attentive. The way of paying was so much better than it used to be ... Wow. So much better. My only complaint was the parking. There has never been a lot of available parking, and now with the patio expansion, there is even less available parking. I wish on busy nights, they would make the patio area smaller to allow for more parking, especially in the winter, when no one is using the patio.”

“Great little cafe! Got the special; roast beef with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, salad & a roll. Even included a piece of cake for dessert & all for only $8.75. Everything was delicious and tasted like good down home comfort food. Also had several pies to choose from for dessert. Waitress was polite and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through or even just as a short day trip get away from Wichita for a couple hours.”

“I've driven by here hundreds of times and wanted to try them and today I did. The princess has the week off and I didn't feel like cooking breakfast so I picked up two biscuits breakfast sandwiches a side of cheese grits and a glazed blueberry biscuit for carry out. Everything was very impressive. The restaurant is very clean bright and full of good smells. We shared everything as usual. The food was hot and tasty I especially enjoyed the grits. The service was fast and friendly. I'll will definitely return to try the chicken as well as the biscuits and gravy.”

“A Hidden Gem!! If you are making any sort of sojourn through the Flint hills, this place is a welcome respite. My bride and I stopped in for an early lunch. We had two of the finest sandwiches we've ever had. Generous portions of delicious meats served on fresh baked bread with crisp, delicious veggies, and a nice pasta salad, all served with the friendliness that only small-town Kansas seems able to summon. Hence, to travel through Florence means a stop here for lunch. Some nice historic places are in the vicinity, and there's a watering hole down the street for us to check out on our next trip.”

“Really good, traditional Mexican food. After having been to Mexico a few times I’d say they are really close to what Americans will eat but is authentically Mexican. We had the Hawaiian Quesadillas and the Chicken Chimichanga. Super filling. I brought home almost half of mine. The restaurant is not large but the booths are built up on platforms and they have created a sweet atmosphere with the space. Authentic Salsa music playing throughout the evening. Kind waitress who was attentive and quick to help.”

“I got the Peppermint Mocha drink, and it was pretty nasty. I prefer sweet and Subtle, but if you little chocolate bitter flavor this is for you. In making my burger order, I went with the Buster's Original Buster Burger, a double with bacon and for my side I did the waffle fries, which isn't a typical offering on most bar & grill menus. It didn't take long for my burger to arrive. A classic 'Texas' or 'Southern' style burger, the patties are 1/3 pound each, both covered with superbly melted American cheese. The beef was perfectly cooked, tender, super juicy and seasoned well. The bun had a nice toast and the sauteed onions packed some great flavor. The dressing of mustard combined with the pickles provided those great tart notes balancing out the beef and bacon. The bacon was nice and crisp.”
