This hotel is a Very good value with today’s dollar. you will not be disappointed staying here. If you happen to have a pet I did see some people with pets here. I thought it’s kind of cool. They’ve got a little courtyard with a swimming pool which is a nice place for kids to run around and burn off some energy. I really enjoyed. seeing that it reminded me of hotels when I was younger. Were a family could go and the kids can go out and play and meet kids from other parts of the country & the world. Unfortunately you don’t see that too often anymore. The place was clean. All the bedding was clean had clean towels soap. The bed mattress was a cheaper one but it’s served its purpose quite well when the Sandman was attacking me in my sleep. This location is convenient. Walking distance to a few different restaurants. It is surrounded pretty much by car dealerships. they have groundskeeper keeping everything looking good outside. They have nighttime security walking the property. Yes it is an old-school hotel building. But I felt it was an excellent value. I stayed three days checked out on 02/01/23 the staff was quite friendly easy to get along with. And when housekeeping was going around if you needed to restock room supplies. They had no problem taking care of it.
Located in a tougher part of town with a notable homeless community in the area, one guy was found dead in his car of an overdose during our stay so location admittedly leaves a bit to be desired. If you can get beyond that, though, I actually really enjoyed my time there. Stayed nearly a month and became familiar with some of the staff, mostly office and security; I absolutely loved them all and chatting with the security guys (particularly Sean and Ryan) was always my favorite part of the night. It's an older building and the rooms are a little small and sparsely furnished as one can expect in an older place. I didn't have a single cockroach encounter which is a lot more than can be said for most other places, but I did have a couple of encounters with a couple of pigeons that liked to go into the rooms and look for goodies which was a hilarious first for me. Staff makes a visible effort to keep grounds tidy- sweeping up cigarette butts, etc and we're always friendly and helpful. Honestly, I would and very likely will in the future stay again. Don't let first impressions fool you, this little adventure is definitely a unique experience!
Nicely updated old 6. Friendly and attentive staff. Rooms nicely redone. Especially appreciated replacement of carpet with vinyl plank flooring. Much more sanitary.
Seems to be successfully fighting the trend of old motels to become a flop house for the addicted.
Ice machine access was inconvenient, and the bathtub lacked a drain plug. Parking is well lit at night - they do leave the light on for you. Price was reasonable, and I would return here.
